Disclaimer: i personally had avoided IIT Bombay due to a
hell of diahorrea. However my friends had narrated their experiences.
Rated the best civil engineering college in India by world’s
most trusted ranking system, IIT Bombay was the hot favourite for all top
rankers. The system of admission is 70% gate and 30 % written test /and
interview. However my personal opinion is as high as 10% is given to first
preference and interview performance is also very much valued. Need proof.OBC
guy with rank about 350 had structures in IIT Bombay where about 40 people
where above him in same category. However he had prepared like hell. It all
boils down to GATE score suited first preference and heavy interview.
